Boosting Efficiency and Growth Control
A control and management dashboard for agricultural plantation managers, for improving efficiency and profitability of the plantation and controlling the growth conditions of the plants. The dashboard enables plantation owners to receive quick information and remotely care for the plantation, as well as identify urgent cases through notifications.

iPlant remotely links you to the nursery by providing real-time plant environment data and alerts for immediate care needs.

Optimizing Nursery Management Productivity
Challenge
Plant owners face numerous challenges in effectively managing their nurseries. With large areas to oversee, they struggle to maintain real-time control over their plants, leading to instances of neglect and potential loss. This lack of immediate oversight makes it difficult for them to identify growth issues early on and address them promptly.
Solution
iPlant provides a user-friendly interface for monitoring plant health and addressing growth issues promptly. With real-time data and notifications, owners can identify plants needing care, improving efficiency and minimizing losses. The platform also offers professional support for growers to maintain plant vitality.

These adjustments keep the text concise while ensuring that each point is relevant to Ehud's role and the case study context. The titles have been slightly altered for clarity and impact.

Brainstoring

In order to understand the challenges and pains of farmers, I created notes on a whiteboard, then connected the notes to threads and analyzed the context of each one separately before ranking them. This exercise helped me understand the biggest issues facing users.

Before proceeding with drawing the screens, I created a user map with the main screens that should be in the solution.

Wireframes
After being satisfied with the architecture, I started working on the user interface itself. I like to start with a low sketch to figure out what works and what doesn’t, then jump to FIGMA to create a more detailed and accurate prototype.

The system will allow the nursery to be divided into specific areas, in order to provide more accurate information. Mapping the nursery to areas will enable us to get a snapshot of the nursery at any given moment and will focus users to areas that need immediate support.

Irrigation Tracking​​
Get instant or scheduled watering based on plant status.
An updated report on the irrigation of plants in the nursery, including a reminder to water at the specified time or to activate as soon as the percentage of moisture in the soil drops below the recommended threshold.

Receive growth anomaly reports and solutions.

The dashboard alerts the user to important events and potential problems, and provides data-based insights that enable streamlining and promoting growth processes.
