In today’s information age, individuals often grapple with the challenges of finding their career path. The abundance of options makes navigating career choices daunting. Moreover, many are unaware of opportunities that match their skills and preferences. The challenge is to create a tool for precise, personalized matching between users and suitable career paths.

After the start of work on the project, I conducted a competitors analysis. With it, I analyzed the competitors in this area in order to properly implement features and stand out from the competition.

During the development process of my career planning application, I conducted in-depth analysis of competitors in the field. Through this, I identified surprising features and improved my own skills. Unlike competitors, my application provides deep analysis of user profiles, alternative career paths, and personalized guidance at every step, with the goal of providing users with personal experiences and efficiency in building a career path that suits them.

I conducted user research by recruiting diverse participants to understand their needs. Qualitative methods and key insights showed a desire for personalized career guidance with practical steps. The participants emphasized the importance of a user-friendly interface, up-to-date information on the labor market, and personal guidance.

Design

This stage includes a description of a theoretical algorithm for matching users to careers based on their questionnaire responses and market data, even though the algorithm has not been developed. The focus was also on designing the user interface of the application to ensure an intuitive and attractive experience. This stage bridges the gap between vision planning and practical user interface design, and lays the foundation for potential implementation of these concepts in the future.

After reviewing the project goals and conducting user experience research, I designed the app architecture, taking into account competitor analysis, research findings, and user inteviews feedback.

For a clear understanding of the page structure and the necessary blocks and sections, I have prepared a detailed wireframes.

The final stage includes processing the application based on initial feedback and hypothetical testing (since actual testing was not conducted). This stage focused on improving the user interface, algorithm accuracy, and ensuring that all features work in harmony to provide a comprehensive and user-friendly career planning tool. The result was a polished and useful application that serves as a testament to a new approach to career investigation and development that caters to the unique needs and desires of each user.

Questionnaire & evaluating skills

After a market analysis, the next step was to develop a personality questionnaire and skills assessment in order to identify the user’s creative points and challenges, as well as their professional suitability. This created additional value for the user to consider their personal and professional situation, and to pursue the career path that suits them and market expectations, ensuring high levels of success and satisfaction.

Comparison between career paths

To help users make well-informed decisions efficiently and reduce search time, the application provides an advanced and professional search tool that allows filtering and sorting based on specific parameters such as skills, areas of interest, and job requirements. During the search process, users can efficiently compare different career paths.

The app was designed to provide users with a secure and enjoyable experience. It should have an inviting entrance while still providing all necessary information. The 3D design was chosen to create a pleasant atmosphere.
